Between Shelter and Horizon

3” x 3” – Acrylic on Canvas

The cave frames the sea as both refuge and boundary. Poised at its edge, the figure occupies a space between isolation and exposure, hesitation and movement. Light filters across the water like a quiet invitation, while the dark stone behind holds the weight of retreat. The moment becomes a threshold — not of arrival, but of becoming. A suspended breath between staying and surrendering, where stillness itself feels like motion.
