Mixed–media – Water colour, oil pastels and pencil colour

This series explores the Japanese countryside through mixed media processes, focusing on material interaction rather than strict representation. Using watercolour, oil pastels, and pencil colours, each work builds layered surfaces that reflect texture, atmosphere, and spatial depth. The series investigates how different materials interact to create mood, stillness, and emotional landscape, treating rural environments as spaces of memory, calm, and quiet continuity rather than purely visual scenes.
